Can I put the software on multiple computers?
Yes, this is a great idea. Our sales Official Dealers will assist you with managing that process to maximize your revenue. We can adjust your license to accommodate your business plan. You will need a dongle or security key for each computer you run the software on at the same time. Most packages come with one dongle.
What is the experience like for the guest?
Great, guest love being a star in their own video. Especially from a professional firm that can add in very cool effects such as green screen, motion backgrounds, moving logo inserts, cool borders and scrolling text. Guest love the speed since ours is the fastest software available.
Can I travel globally?
Yes, the software can run on several codex and several video formats. Just let us know and we can assist you with changing electrical requirements to global video output types. How much space is required?
Event portable systems take up about a 10’ x 10’area (3m x 3m). Some dealers prefer to have more space.
Retail systems use less floor space due to design involving floor and ceiling mounts for lights, cameras, screens…. Just show us a photo of your space and send over the measurements. We would be pleased to review these and assist you with a retail design that works for you. We also offer mounting tips and studio hardware discounts.
Will I need anything else?
Yes, the hardware of computers, green screen, lights, printer, cutter and stapler… do not come with the software. We do offer those separately should you wish to have a turn-key purchase. We can theoretically create over 100 books per hour, but most Official Dealers average about 45 - 50 per hour. The guest experience drives the event timing; the guest should never feel rushed or pushed along so all the guest leave please with the experience. You can speed it up or slow it down depending on your goals. The number of printers the dealer sets up is also key to the per hour capacity or throughput.

How many staff do I send?
Retail locations run the system with one person.
We prefer to provide two staff to keep up the pace at events. Adding a third person can increase the output even more.

Yes, you man create custom backgrounds, custom border frames and even insert logos or brands into our software. It is all as easy as 1, 2, 3. Most Official Dealers shop online for
great backgrounds at very affordable prices and then import those into Flip Book Movies. You will love the auto fill feature that sizes the background for you. Both stll and video backgrounds can be purchased online.
Can I buy a territory in the USA?
No, territories are not available within the USA for Flip Book Movies. We believe territories would restrict Flip Book Movies sales and burden the territory Official Dealer with a very large minimum quota. Territories are available in some countries. Do I have to buy hardware from Flip Book Movies?
No, you can buy hardware anywhere. We do support the hardware we sell however. We do offer a great price on hardware. We also give you a free list of detailed hardware items needed to assist you. Most Official Dealers buy printers from an office supply company. We even have a great Official Dealer for toner to introduce to you. He offers our Official Dealers a super low price. How big is the hardware in transport and storage?
The hardware from Flip Book Movies fits in a PT Cruiser (car). It really is that small. It takes less than a 3’ x 4’ space for storage. See our hardware specifications in the Flip Book Movies website.
How much space is required to set up an event?
Great question, it is nice to have plenty of room, however Flip Book Movies was designed to accommodate small footprints. The minimum is about 8’ x 8’ square. We really appreciate having 10’ x 12’.
How many people can be videoed at once?
You decide, it can be 1 person or 10 people. We most often shoot to two to four people at a time. Here is a operating tip. Tape a square on the floor where your camera frame is. This will assist the guest in staying “in the shot.”
Is there a patent?
Yes, no, well, kinda. Portions (features) of the Flip Books Movies software and process are patent pending. Portions of our software code are patent pending. All of our software code and graphics are copyright protected. Patent applications were filed in 2006 thru 2010. The flip books as a concept go back to the late 1890’s, so not many patents are still available to receive. No patent is available for all aspects of Flip Book making, as the process and product are so old, those patents have expired.
Legal or Marketing?
If you have been threatened with legal action regarding a patent for flip books, you may wish to review your options with an attorney. We have heard rumors that some people that “love flip books” are out there making threatening statements to coheres people into buying there software only.
